Locum Support Assistants (Bury St Edmunds)
There are many reasons why people become homeless, but few good reasons not to help them. In 1984, a committed group of individuals and organisations decided enough was enough. Direct action was needed, not just to help clear the streets of cardboard box dwellers, but to help those who wanted another chance to get a life.

In September 1998, Tayfen House opened its doors to its first residents - and was full within three days. The support, campaigning, hard work and encouragement of very many people had made a terrific difference for many homeless people. Without that support, the new resource centre at Tayfen House would not have been possible.

Relief Support Workers (Days & Nights) (Stowupland)
Very Sheltered Housing ensures older people needing support and/or personal care from four to 60 hours per week, continue to live in their own home; a self-contained flat within a scheme accommodating up to approximately 80 people under one roof, with 24 hour access to Support Workers who can accommodate their individual care plan needs and organise medical or emergency attention.
