It is a legal requirement for Orwell, as a landlord, to ensure that any of your gas appliances supplied by the Association are serviced on a yearly basis. When it is time for your appliances to be tested, you will receive a letter from the contractor with a suggested date and time for them to carry out the work. If the date and time is not suitable please contact the contractor direct, as soon as possible, in order to arrange for a new appointment to be made.

It is in your interests to make sure that our Contractor is allowed access to perform the servicing, to make sure that you and your family are kept safe.

Failure to allow us sufficient access to check your gas appliances will lead to you being in breach of your tenancy agreement, and may result in the loss of your home.
