Welcome to the Orwell Housing Association website.

We are in business for neighbourhoods, creating places where people want to live and providing a wide range of support and care services. Housing associations are independent social businesses that do not trade for profit, and reinvest surpluses into both their properties and communities. Building and renting homes is the most visible thing that we do. Orwell has a portfolio of 3000 properties in Suffolk, Norfolk, Cambridge and Essex providing employment for over 400 people. As indicated above the Association also provides a wide range of care and support services for young people, women fleeing violence, those with learning difficulties and older persons.

The Association has come a long way in the last 15 years. We now need to encourage quality in the way we deliver services and will continue to seek ways in which to achieve this.
