Keep our tenants well informed is very important to us. Please find below our actions and progress in this area:

Re-write the Disabled Adaptations leaflet so that is it more user-friendly Revisions have been agreed. A new leaflet will be sent out in Orwell News September 2010 edition
Ensure disabled tenants are aware of support and assistive technology available Information sent in 2009 to all disabled tenants and tenants with mobility issues
Investigate how many tenants would prefer to communicate by e-mail Complete. Only 470 of Orwell’s 3,600 tenants have declared their e-mail addresses
Introduce text messaging services The Association is investigating the costs and benefits of offering a text messaging service
Keep a log of all translation and interpretation requests The log was set up in Autumn 2009 and continues to be maintained by the Customer Service Advisor
