Improving Communication
Keep our tenants well informed is very important to us. Please find below our actions and progress in this area:

| Ensure disabled tenants are aware of support and assistive technology available | Information sent in 2009 to all disabled tenants and tenants with mobility issues |
| Investigate how many tenants would prefer to communicate by e-mail | Complete. Only 470 of Orwell’s 3,600 tenants have declared their e-mail addresses |
| Introduce text messaging services | The Association is investigating the costs and benefits of offering a text messaging service |
| Keep a log of all translation and interpretation requests | The log was set up in Autumn 2009 and continues to be maintained by the Customer Service Advisor |
