Orwell Housing Association is thrilled to announce the appointment of Tony Long as the new Director of Customers and Communities. Bringing with him over 20 years of extensive experience in the housing sector, Tony's career to date includes pivotal roles at both national and regional social housing providers, with his most recent position being at Moat Homes. His vast knowledge and expertise will enrich Orwell’s Executive Team.

With a proven track record in leading customer-facing housing services, Tony has demonstrated a keen focus on elevating the customer experience and fostering high-performing teams. Tony is also a recent Business and Management Graduate of Hult Ashridge Business School and a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Housing. Tony's combination of academic insight and hands-on experience will be instrumental in driving Orwell forward.

Expressing his enthusiasm about his upcoming role at Orwell, Tony shared, "I am delighted to be part of an organisation that is deeply committed to improving the quality of life and future prospects of its customers, employees, and communities."

In his new role, Tony will collaborate closely with customers and colleagues to provide strategic guidance across Orwell’s property and estate services, housing management, customer services, and customer engagement teams.
