Issues with tenancy? Contact us

What you need to do

If you decide to move out of your Orwell home, we require one month notice in writing. Once confirmed, your tenancy will end one month after your written request has been received by Orwell.

Please complete the online form below and we will start the process.

Request to end tenancy

If you are unable to complete the online form, you can contact us in writing, by email or telephone at Orwell Head Office.

After you contact Orwell to end your tenancy, we will send you a link to a DocuSign form for you to provide your signature(s) to end the tenancy.

If you have a joint tenancy, we would prefer all parties to sign the notice but, if this is not possible, one tenant can give notice to end the tenancy.

You are responsible for all tenancy matters until the tenancy ends.

What we will do

On receipt of the request to end your tenancy, we will contact you to discuss the end of tenancy process, confirm your tenancy end date, and arrange to carry out any property inspections.

We will give you written confirmation that your tenancy will end and guidance to ensure that your property is handed back to Orwell in accordance with your tenancy agreement.

We will let you know how to return the keys to the property.
