A message from our Chief Executive

As we enter lockdown for a second time, we want to assure you that we are still open and here for you

Covid19 Main

Times continue to be uncertain and, whilst we have to ensure we comply with the Governments regulations around the Coronavirus, I want to assure all of our customers that it is our intention to continue to provide services as close to normal as possible.

Whilst our offices remain closed to visitors we are fully open on the telephone and online.

The new lockdown in place from Thursday 5 November 2020 will still allow us to carry out repairs to your home, as well as, our safety and compliance work such as gas servicing, electrical testing and fire risk assessments, whilst following our Covid safe procedures.

Gardening, caretaking and cleaning services will also continue as will letting of homes, again, all following a Covid safe risk assessment.

Your Housing Officer will continue to be available via the phone or email and, whilst visits in your home will be restricted, should you need to urgently see your Housing Officer face to face we can arrange a 1-2-1 outside meeting if required.

We are restarting support calls during lockdown to ensure that people living on their own and either having to self-isolate, need help with shopping or would just like someone to talk to, have some contact with us to see if we can help.  If you would like a call please get in touch with our Customer Services team on 0345 60 100 30.

My message is a simple one, although our office is closed, Orwell remains open and we will continue to provide our services in the best way that we can – stay safe and very best wishes.

Wendy Evans-Hendrick

Chief Executive
