Following a consultation, the government have announced that it will require all those working in social care to be double vaccinated against Covid-19. From 1 April next year, it will be mandatory for actively employed health and social care workers, including volunteers who have face-to-face contact with customers, to provide evidence they are double vaccinated.

We believe our Orwell colleagues should get the Covid-19 vaccinations to protect themselves and those around them. We are currently working with our service managers to get a better understanding of our Covid-19 vaccination status.

We are confident this will have no impact on the care and support we are able to provide; our customers will continue to receive the high-quality care and support they have come to know and expect from us.
